We are right now 5 nm off the coast of Réunion and are within the coverage of the cell phone network. Réunion belongs to France, and France to the European Community, this means we are within our cheap European roaming network. Therefore I can place this good news on this website from the ocean.
The cruise was fast. We have been on our way for 23 hours and will reach Reunion in about one hour. We had good winds but the boat was rolling very much. None of us got much sleep last night.
Steffen, one of my temporary crew, who, together with his wife, joined me on a visit of Réunion island already caught a delicious barracuda. 
We are all looking forward to setting the anchor in a nice bay in a little while where we will have a feast with this barracuda… and …. sleep..
.. and for dessert we will have some Bonito, which Steffen just caught as well.
